Weekend road-update During busy weekends the city closes some of the roads into the centre, this can make navigating into the city for those volunteering to map read very tricky, please follow the diversion signs and contact the hotel for the latest information on road closures prior to travelling. Directions - Rail Cardiff Central Station The Royal Hotel Cardiff is approximately 100 metres from Cardiff Central Station. Exit the station and walk straight through Cardiff Bus Station. You will see a large building on the right across the road, on the corner of Westgate Street and St Mary Street, with O'Neills bar on the ground floor (blue sign). The entrance to the hotel can be accessed from Westgate Street as wells as St Mary Street with black signage displaying the Hotel's logo.
